What is RAW WINE Club?
We are RAW WINE's monthly wine club in the US, curated by Isabelle Legeron MW, RAW WINE founder and global authority on natural wine. Each wine box is unique and each selection is accompanied by Isabelle's thoughts and tasting notes, exclusive producer insights and food pairing recommendations. RAW WINE Club is about exploration, helping you take a deep dive into natural wine and encouraging individual learning.
What is RAW WINE?
We are the world's largest network of low-intervention organic, biodynamic and natural wine growers and makers. Through our annual fairs around the world - in London, Berlin, New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Montréal, Paris, Copenhagen and Tokyo - and our various digital projects including Alive!, the world's first digital conference dedicated to the living in wine, RAW WINE exists to bring people together to share ideas, taste truly great drinks and galvanize industry-wide evolution. Who is Isabelle Legeron MW?
Isabelle is France’s first female master of wine, an award-winning taster, the author of Natural Wine: an introduction to organic and biodynamic wines made naturally and the founder of RAW WINE. Described by her peers as "standard-bearer for natural wine" and "our modern-day Joan of Arc" Isabelle is globally recognised as a champion of wine that’s grown and made properly. That’s farmed organically at the very minimum and made without recourse to additives, winemaking aids or heavy-handed manipulation. Isabelle is all about pure, live drinks. Are all the wines in the monthly boxes natural?
Yes - RAW WINE is a network of low-intervention organic, biodynamic and natural wine growers and makers. They all embrace clean, sustainable, organic viticulture at a minimum as well as low-intervention practices in the cellar, including the minimal use of sulfites (which in many cases means no-added sulfites at all), spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and a light touch in terms of winemaking. What will I receive?
You will receive 3, 6 or 12 wines hand-selected by Isabelle Legeron MW, depending on the subscription you have opted for. In the box, you will find a postcard that gives you access to the month’s Tasting Notes - a dedicated web page featuring exclusive interviews with each producer, Isabelle’s tasting notes, and food pairing recommendations for each bottle. Where do you ship to?
We currently service all of the US except for the following states: AK, HI, UT, AL, MS, RI, DE.
We reserve the right to update this list at any time but don't worry, if the change were to affect you or your order, we would obviously notify you in advance.
How long will it take to get my order?
All monthly boxes are prepared for shipment from the 10th day of each month, onwards.
Shipping times vary depending on destination but are typically 2-5 business days after being picked up by the shipper. You will receive tracking information once the shipper collects your box from our warehouse. Please note that the delivery date is an estimate and may change based on factors out of our control.
What shipping carriers do you use?
We use UPS.
Do I need to sign for the shipment?
Someone 21 or older must be present to accept and sign for the wine. The signatory may be asked for photo ID with birthdate to verify their age, and may be asked to sign an acknowledgment confirming acceptance at the time of delivery. If the shipper is unable to verify your age or identity, or if you appear intoxicated, or if the situation is otherwise unsafe or inappropriate, they may refuse to leave the wine with you. Alcohol cannot be left unattended.
The shipper will make 3 attempts to deliver your box to you, after which time the box will be returned to us. If this happens then you will be charged a return shipping and restocking fee of $30.
Gifting
I want to add a gift note, how do I do that?
Once you place your gift order, you will receive an email with a link to a form where you can add your message and the date on which you would like your gift recipient to be notified of their gift. We will email them a specially designed, celebratory email to let them know. So, for example, if this is a birthday gift, you can send them a gift note that will arrive on their actual birthday! How do the wine club gift subscriptions work?
If you want to purchase a RAW WINE Club box or box series for a friend, there are lots of options - including a pre-paid subscription for 1 to 12 months worth of wine. You will pay upfront and and your friend will receive wine for the number of months you choose.
Returns and Refunds
What's your return/refund policy?
We really want you to be thrilled with your subscription so if you are dissatisfied in any way, just let us know club@rawwine.com . If it is dissatisfaction with your box or delivery, please let us know within 30 days of delivery.
Please note - customers are responsible for covering the cost of any pick-up or return shipping fees associated with your order.
My box was damaged on arrival! What do I do?
This is extremely rare but it can happen. Should this happen to you, please do let us know within 30 days of delivery. Email us at club@rawwine.com and we can sort out a solution!
